Accountant (Female)

Unss Apparel is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage and enhance its financial functions. The ideal candidate has a minimum of one year of relevant accounting experience and demonstrates strong expertise in sales tax compliance. This role is critical for ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and maintaining tax audit readiness. The Accountant will use their knowledge of accounting principles and financial software tools like SAP, Oracle Financials, and MS Excel to process accounts payable and receivable efficiently. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial records are essential to support the company's financial health and regulatory compliance. The Accountant at Unss Apparel is responsible for maintaining precise financial documents and facilitating smooth financial operations within the organization. While the position does not include team management, the role requires effective communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with other departments. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical skills for interpreting financial data and tax regulations, particularly sales tax, to ensure compliance and support strategic business decisions.
Responsibilities
 

• Prepare accurate financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Maintain and update financial records such as journals, ledgers, and reconciliation statements to support financial transparency.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable ensuring timely processing and recording of transactions.
• Conduct budgeting and forecasting activities to assist with financial planning and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws by preparing and filing sales tax returns and maintaining necessary documentation for tax audits.
• Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and financial reporting software such as SAP and Oracle Financials to streamline accounting processes.
• Perform detailed data analysis and interpretation to support financial decision-making and identify trends or discrepancies.
• Assist with internal and external audit processes by providing accurate financial records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax regulations and financial policies affecting the company.
• Verify accuracy of financial information and identify errors or inconsistencies to maintain high data integrity.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions to organize, analyze, and present financial data for reporting purposes.
• Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all accounting tasks to uphold accuracy and compliance standards.
