Accountant

Sanitrol Enterprises is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join its finance team. The ideal candidate has at least one year of professional experience and possesses a strong understanding of financial principles, including charts of accounts. This role involves managing various aspects of financial reporting and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The candidate will regularly work with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle Financials to maintain up-to-date and precise records. This Accountant is responsible for handling accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes. The role requires a methodical approach to maintaining the general ledger and preparing tax documentation. Although this position does not involve managing a team, it demands strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with other departments and contribute to the financial health of Sanitrol Enterprises.
Responsibilities
 

• Prepare accurate financial reports by maintaining and reconciling the general ledger and other accounting records.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely recording and payment of invoices.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures by compiling necessary documentation and verifying account balances.
• Perform account reconciliations regularly to identify discrepancies and resolve any financial inconsistencies.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle Financials to maintain and update financial data.
• Assist in preparing tax returns and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Ensure a thorough understanding of the companys finance structure, charts of accounts, and related financial systems.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records to support audits and internal reviews.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Continuously update knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and enhance overall efficiency within the accounting function.
