The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following position:

Position / Job Title:Wing Head - Green Banking Wing (Own Impact Reduction) (VP)

Reporting to:

Chief Green Banking Manager

Educational /Professional Qualification:

• Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan
• Candidates with Graduation or Masters in environmental sciences / corporate social responsibility / sustainability management/ Social Risk assessment / environmental finance / renewable energy / business administration with sustainability focus will be preferred
• Having professional certification in relevant field will be an added advantage

Experience:

• Minimum 08 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in a bank or large corporate entity, with at least 03 years in sustainable development and / or environmental management and / or ESG implementation and / or energy efficiency & resource management and / or environmental and social risk monitoring and / or operation green initiatives and / or related field
• Candidates currently serving in a team leader or supervisory role in financial institution will be preferred

Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required:

• Develop and conduct training content for staff and customers on green banking principles
• Comprehensive knowledge of green financing products and services, sustainable development projects and relevant regulatory frameworks
• Well-versed with policy development, procedural development and cross functional team leadership
• Excellent communication / presentation skills as well as stakeholder engagement skills

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:

• To formulate and implement a comprehensive Own Impact Reduction Strategy for the Bank, focusing on energy efficiency, water conservation, paper reduction and waste management
• To develop short, medium and long-term action plans and performance indicators aligned with the Banks sustainability objectives
• To ensure compliance with Green Banking and ESRM Policy / Procedure
• To prepare and submit periodic reports to the regulator on the Banks progress with respect to Green Banking initiatives, in addition to other reports as may be required by the regulator
• To conduct periodic assessments of the Banks consumption of electricity, water, fuel and other natural resources
• To recommend and implement measures to optimize consumption and reduce wastage across branches and offices nationwide
• To facilitate the coordination and implementation of the Banks green initiatives across all Groups / Divisions
• To ensure the execution of initiatives aimed at reducing the Banks internal environmental footprint, including but not limited to energy efficiency, renewable energy adoption, water conservation, paperless and digital banking, waste management / recycling and sustainable procurement practices
• To actively participate in the Banks strategic planning processes, serve on technical committees and exercise voting rights in matters relating to procurement and the reengineering of business processes
• To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Employment Type:

The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed ondiscretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensationpackage and other benefits as per Banks Policy / rules.
