In line with our strategy, the Bank is looking for talented, dedicated and experienced professional(s) for the following position in the area of Inclusive Development based in Karachi.
The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following position:
Position / Job Title: Unit Head - Portfolio Management (SME) (AVP / VP)
Reporting to:
Wing Head - Portfolio Management SME
Educational /Professional Qualification:
- Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college /institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan
- Candidates having a Masters degree in Business and / or any other professional certifications such as AIBP, JAIBP will be preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 06 years of relevant banking experience in SME and / or Commercial Banking
- Candidates with experience in exposure to Portfolio Management, Performance Monitoring and Regulatory Reporting will be preferred
- Candidates with experience in SME or Commercial Banking within a large commercial bank will be preferred
Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required:
- Strong understanding of SME credit, portfolio management, performance monitoring and portfolio analytics
- Sound knowledge of SBP regulations, banking policies and market dynamics relevant to SME
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point)
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong analytical, structuring and problem solving skills
- Leadership skills
- Team management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, organize priorities and meet targets
Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:
- To act as the central focal point for portfolio-related information, analytics and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely MIS for senior management and governance forums
- To ensure compliance of portfolio monitoring practices with internal policies, regulatory requirements and applicable accounting standards
- To lead the consolidation and validation of regional / business data for regulatory reporting ,performance reviews and management presentations
- To coordinate closely with Business, Risk, Recovery / SAM, Finance and other stake holder stomonitor renewals, slippages, NPL movements, scheme limits and implementation of corrective actions
- To oversee the monitoring and tracking of Non Performing Loans (NPLs), including identifying emerging stress, analyzing delinquency bucket movements, coordinating with regions for timely submission of Regularization Tracking Mechanisms (RTMs) and liaising with Recovery / SAM units to ensure prompt corrective actions and minimize slippages
- To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Employment Type:
The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per Banks Policy / rules.
