In line with our strategy, the Bank is looking for talented, dedicated and experienced professional(s) for the following position in the area of Information Technologybased in Karachi.

The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following position:

Position / Job Title:Unit Head - Data Extraction & Coordination (AVP)

Reporting to:

Wing Head MIS

Educational /Professional Qualification:

• Minimum Bachelors degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent and / or Graduation with a Masters degree in IT / Computer Science or equivalent, from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan
• Candidates having relevant certification(s) will be preferred

Experience:

• Minimum 06 years of experience in the field of IT, out of which 03 years of experience in Support & Operations of IT Applications within a banking or financial institution
• Candidates with experience in developing and executing queries and procedures on multi-platform databases will be preferred

Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required:

• Demonstrated expertise in developing complex queries and writing stored procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Visual Studio, Crystal Reports, and .NET technologies
• Proven hands-on experience in providing technical and operational support to business end-users
• Ability to understand, develop, and execute SQL scripts for data extraction and update across multiple databases
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes of business application issues
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional teams

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:

• To carry out daily, weekly, and monthly data extractions from multiple systems and upload them into the MIS database
• To develop and maintain MIS data extraction scripts and ensure they remain up to date
• To perform regular archiving of the MIS database to ensure adequate storage space is maintained
• To ensure timely and accurate availability of data in the MIS databases
• To proactively ensure availability of system data for defined periods within the MIS database
• To prepare audit reports for submission to the State Bank of Pakistan inspection team on an ad-hoc basis
• To ensure backup of critical resources for smooth departmental operations
• To manage customer-wise advances, including regular and Non-Performing Loan (NPL) accounts
• To coordinate with the database administration team regarding database repository size and provide recommendations for enhancements
• To assist in internal and external audits, as well as inspections conducted by the State Bank of Pakistan
• To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Employment Type:

The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed ondiscretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensationpackage and other benefits as per Banks Policy / rules.
