The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following position:

Position / Job Title: Wing Head - Green Banking Wing (Credit) (VP)

Reporting to:

Chief Green Banking Manager

Educational /Professional Qualification:

• Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or international university / college / institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan
• Candidates with Graduation or Masters in environmental sciences / corporate social responsibility / sustainability management / social risk assessment / environmental finance / renewable energy / business administration with sustainability focus will be preferred
• Having professional certification in relevant field will be an added advantage

Experience:

• Minimum 08 years of banking experience out of which 03 years in renewable energy financing and / or Green banking and / or sustainable finance and / or environmental risk assessment and / or social risk management and / or ESG implementation and / or sustainable development and / or climate risk and / or related sustainability focused field
• Candidates currently serving in a team leader or supervisory role in financial institution will be preferred

Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required:

• Develop and conduct training content for staff and customers on green banking principles
• Comprehensive knowledge of green financing products and services, sustainable development projects and relevant regulatory frameworks
• Well versed with policy development, procedural development and cross functional team leadership
• Excellent communication / presentation skills as well as stakeholder engagement skills

Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:

• To execute environmental and social risk management policy and procedures within the Bank
• To update Chief Green Banking Manager on the status of the Bank's portfolio regarding Environmental and Social Risk Management
• To update Chief Green Banking Manager on how to support relevant business teams by way of providing feedback and guidance on medium and high risk projects, mainly covering key Environmental and Social Risks (E&S Risks)
• To maintain MIS of E&S Rating wise portfolio etc. for onward submission to the regulator or higher management as and when required
• To provide feedback and guidance to the business teams on medium and high risk projects, mainly outlining key E&S risks and how to manage them
• To regularly submit reports to the regulator on the Bank's progress in Green Banking initiatives and other reports required by the regulator
• To responsible for coordination and implementation of Bank's green activities across the Bank and manage the reporting on E&S Risks on high-risk transactions
• To perform any other assignment as assigned by the supervisor(s)

Employment Type:

The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per Banks Policy / rules.
