Warehouse Manager

Job Description

The Warehouse Manager at Nadeem Silko Center oversees all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient management of inventory, order fulfillment, and shipping processes.

This role demands a proactive leader with at least three years of relevant experience who can effectively manage a team of four to maintain smooth warehouse functions and meet the organization's logistical needs.

The manager is responsible for ensuring stock accuracy through independent audits and implementing best practices in warehouse management systems to optimize workflow.

This position requires strong computer proficiency and leadership qualities to coordinate workforce scheduling, labor management, and maintain high standards of inventory control and accuracy.

The Warehouse Manager drives continuous improvement in warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, and shipping operations, contributing crucially to the overall success of the supply chain and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
 

• Manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order picking, and shipping processes.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of the warehouse team consisting of four members to ensure productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
• Implement and utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory levels, order statuses, and workflow efficiency.
• Conduct independent audits to provide accurate and complete stock figures, ensuring inventory control and accuracy.
• Schedule workforce shifts and manage labor allocation to meet operational demands and optimize productivity.
• Oversee order fulfillment and picking processes to guarantee timely and precise delivery of goods.
• Maintain shipping and receiving operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and external regulations.
• Train and develop warehouse personnel to enhance skills, efficiency, and adherence to standards.
• Identify areas for operational improvements and implement best practices to boost the warehouses performance.
• Ensure that all warehouse activities comply with health and safety standards.
• Utilize computer systems effectively for reporting, communication, and data management related to warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate logistics and resolve any operational challenges.
