Job Description

As a Team Leader at Easypaisa Digital Bank, you play a crucial role in supporting the Branch Manager by implementing business procedures and overseeing the operational and administrative functions of the branch. Your responsibilities include coordinating activities related to distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration, and sales to ensure smooth and efficient branch performance. You also focus on encouraging team members to increase non-cash recoveries, monitoring their performance, and reporting irregularities to maintain the branchs operational integrity. In this position, you actively conduct market visits to explore sales opportunities and collaborate with the Branch Manager to develop corrective measures for challenges and growth prospects. You maintain high ethical standards and ensure compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to the branchs functions. Risk awareness and compliance are essential aspects of your role, requiring you to consistently update processes and systems to mitigate risks effectively. While you do not manage a team directly, your contributions are instrumental in supporting team efforts and maintaining a motivated, goal-oriented work environment. Your role also involves maintaining process integrity during loan disbursements, assessing customer creditworthiness, and actively contributing to the achievement of business targets at the branch level.
Responsibilities
 

  • Coordinate with the Branch Manager to oversee operational functions including distribution, customer service, human resources, administration, and sales activities to ensure efficient branch operations.
  • Encourage and support Branch Officers (BOs) in increasing non-cash recoveries while monitoring their performance and reporting any irregularities or concerns regarding disbursements and recoveries.
  • Conduct thorough market visits to identify potential and current sales opportunities, providing timely insights to facilitate business growth.
  • Collaborate with the Branch Manager to analyze operational challenges and develop corrective actions to enhance branch performance and address emerging issues.
  • Provide regular and detailed updates to the Branch Manager on discrepancies, operational issues, and other matters requiring attention within the branch.
  • Identify new markets and business development opportunities in conjunction with the Branch Manager to expand the branchs client base and improve profitability.
  • Ensure Branch Officers handle Days Past Due (DPD) clients effectively by monitoring customer follow-ups and providing necessary reminders to maintain loan repayment schedules.
  • Uphold and promote high ethical standards, ensuring that all branch activities comply with applicable laws, banking regulations, and internal policies.
  • Support the Branch Manager in building and maintaining a motivated workforce by fostering a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement and retention.
  • Assist in the timely disbursement of loans while ensuring adherence to proper documentation practices and process integrity throughout the approval and release stages.
  • Assess customer creditworthiness by evaluating income, demographics, and financial credibility to help reduce risk and maintain the branchs financial stability.
  • Assist the Branch Manager with any additional tasks and projects assigned to support branch operations and business objectives.
  • Promote a strong culture of risk awareness by actively managing compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation policies within daily operations.
  • Regularly review and update internal policies, procedures, and systems to ensure effective compliance management and reduce exposure to operational risks.
