Surveillance Officer

Job Description

Xpertwave is seeking a vigilant Surveillance Officer to join its security team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in surveillance, security, or monitoring roles, although fresh candidates with exceptional observation skills are encouraged to apply. This role requires operating CCTV systems and monitoring equipment to ensure the safety and security of the premises. The Surveillance Officer must maintain a high level of alertness during long shifts and demonstrate strong attention to detail to identify potential security threats promptly. The position demands trustworthiness and integrity, as the officer will handle confidential information regularly. The role requires good communication skills in both English and Urdu to report incidents clearly and coordinate with other security personnel effectively. Candidates must be willing to work flexible schedules, including day, night, and rotating shifts, to maintain continuous surveillance coverage. A basic understanding of computer operations and the ability to perform risk assessments and respond to emergencies are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
 

• Continuously monitor multiple CCTV cameras and surveillance equipment to detect and report unusual activities.
• Conduct regular risk assessments of the premises to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
• Respond promptly and effectively to security breaches or emergencies following established procedures.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily surveillance activities and any incidents or suspicious behavior observed.
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors regarding any security concerns or incidents.
• Ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information and maintain a high level of integrity at all times.
• Adhere to shift schedules, maintaining concentration and alertness throughout long hours of vigilance.
• Assist in the implementation of emergency response plans and support evacuation procedures if necessary.
• Operate and maintain CCTV systems, ensuring they are functional and report any malfunctions immediately.
• Provide support to security personnel by sharing observations and participating in security briefings.
