Responsibilities:

  • Participate in new product projects by defining assembly process flow, workstation layout, and equipment/jig requirements.
  • Ensure process readiness before SOP (Start of Production) through installation, validation, and trial runs of new equipment and tools.
  • Prepare and update PFMEA, WI (Work Instructions), and Process Control Plans for assembly lines.
  • Support the Ergonomic, OHS, and Quality requirements of assembly operations.
  • Identify and implement efficiency improvement projects targeting productivity, manpower optimization, and cost reduction.
  • Conduct time studies, line balancing, and workstation optimization to improve throughput and reduce bottlenecks.
  • Analyze assembly data and downtime to propose solutions for yield and efficiency improvement.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives such as Kaizen, 5S, and standardization.
  • Track breakdown and part quality data from Suppliers for monitoring MTTR, MTBF and PPM trends.
  • Perform scheduled audits at Supplier facility to ensure compliance of preventive maintenance plan.
  • Lead HVPT activity at Supplier facility to assess capacity and supplier readiness.
  • Identify and initiate improvement activities at supplier facility resulting in cost savings.
  • Identify the machine, fixture, and tool requirements for new products or process improvements.
  • Prepare technical specifications and support investment proposals (Cap Ex) and supplier evaluations.
  • Oversee installation, commissioning, and performance validation of new equipment.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to ensure reliability and safety of machines.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation: timelines, risk analyses, and progress reports.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain during product industrialization.
  • Report improvement project outcomes in terms of productivity gain, cost saving, and process quality.
  • Work in compliance with Arçelik OHS, ISO 9001, and internal Dawlance procedures.
  • Ensure all activities and equipment meet safety, quality, and environmental standards.


 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of assembly process design, line balancing, and Lean manufacturing tools
  • Understanding of production technologies and equipment selection
  • Proficient in MS Office and basic AutoCAD / NX usage
  • Project management and analytical problem-solving capability.
