MEP Draftsman

Pro-S is seeking a skilled MEP Draftsman with at least three years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma (DAE) or relevant qualification in Mechanical, Drafting, or a related field, and has proven expertise in creating detailed and accurate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings, especially for HVAC projects. This role requires a strong command of AutoCAD, including both 2D and 3D drafting, alongside proficiency in Revit MEP and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools to support effective design development. The MEP Draftsman at Pro-S is responsible for producing precise layouts and models that reflect the technical requirements of HVAC systems. This position demands a solid understanding of MEP systems and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. The candidate demonstrates readiness to visit project sites as needed to gather accurate data and ensure that designs align with real-world conditions. Although this role does not include team management responsibilities, the professional will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and contractors to deliver high-quality drafting services.
Responsibilities
 

• Develop detailed mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) drawings using AutoCAD and Revit MEP to support HVAC projects.
• Create both 2D and 3D models that accurately represent HVAC systems and layouts in compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Interpret and analyze architectural and engineering drawings to produce coordinated MEP designs that align with overall building plans.
• Use Building Information Modeling (BIM) software to prepare and manage comprehensive digital representations of physical and functional characteristics of MEP systems.
• Collaborate with project engineers and architects to ensure the accuracy of designs and provide technical input during the drafting process.
• Conduct site visits to collect necessary measurements, assess conditions, and verify design details for precise drafting outcomes.
• Review and modify drafts based on feedback from stakeholders and project updates to maintain up-to-date and compliant documentation.
• Maintain organized and well-documented records of all drafts and project revisions to support project tracking and quality assurance.
• Ensure all drawings conform to company standards, industry codes, and relevant regulations governing HVAC and MEP systems.
• Assist in troubleshooting drafting-related issues and recommend improvements in workflows to enhance draft quality and efficiency.
