We Are Hiring: Senior Full Stack Engineer

Location: SMCHS, Block B, near Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi

Timings: 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM (Night Shift)

Job Type: Full-Time (Onsite)

Salary: Up to PKR 550,000 (Based on Experience)

A well-known client of Al-Madiha Enterprises is seeking a "Senior Full Stack Engineer" to join a US-based healthcare tech project focused on real-time claims processing.

This platform connects pharmaceutical companies, pharmacies, and patients to process financial assistance and copay support in real time with high accuracy.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex problems with real-world impact.

Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop real-time claims processing systems
• Develop scalable APIs and data models for complex eligibility and multi-program enrollment workflows.
• Build and optimize backend services handling high-volume pharmacy transactions
• Create modern front-end apps using React
• Optimize databases & system performance
• Ensure high standards of security, compliance, performance, and system reliability
• Take ownership of technical decisions and system architecture within your domain

Tech Stack:

Rails 8 • React 18 • Typescript • MySQL • Elasticsearch • Docker • Solid Queue • AWS • Monitoring & Observability Tools

Requirements:

• 7+ years of Full Stack development experience
• Strong experience in Ruby on Rails (Rails 7/8 preferred) & React (modern hooks, state management)
• Proficiency in Typescript
• Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL (indexing, query optimization, schema design)
• Experience with APIs, databases & distributed systems
• Experience with background job systems (e.g., Sidekiq or similar)
• Familiar with testing tools (RSpec, Jest, Cypress or similar)
• Experience working with Docker and AWS

Preferred:

• Healthcare, insurance, Fintech or transaction-heavy systems experience
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance or healthcare data security standards
• Experience with Elasticsearch
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like New Relic or Sentry
