Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Lead to design, develop, and lead the implementation of scalable web applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX). This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise and leadership capability to guide development teams, define best practices, and deliver high-quality, business-aligned solutions.

Key Responsibilities

 

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of applications using Oracle APEX
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements
• Architect robust, scalable, and secure database-driven solutions using Oracle technologies
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to APEX developers
• Establish coding standards, development guidelines, and best practices
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability
• Integrate APEX applications with REST APIs, web services, and third-party systems
• Manage version control, deployment pipelines, and release processes
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Ensure compliance with security and data governance standards 
  
  
   

Required Skills

 

• Strong expertise in Oracle APEX and Oracle Database
• Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning
• Experience with RESTful services and API integrations
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities 
  
  
   

Qualifications & Experience

 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience with Oracle technologies
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle APEX
• Proven experience in leading development teams or projects is preferred.
