SQL Developer

Ideal candidate for this role is a skilled SQL Developer with strong experience in Temenos T24 Transact, responsible for building and optimizing data extraction, reporting, and data models across ODS and SDS environments using PostgreSQL and Amazon Aurora.

Location: Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Multan, Faislabad.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for ODS/SDS reporting.
• Work with T24 data structures (accounts, transactions, customers).
• Extract, transform, and load data into reporting layers.
• Design and maintain data models in PostgreSQL/Aurora.
• Perform query performance tuning (indexing, partitioning).
• Build stored procedures, functions, and views for reporting.
• Ensure data accuracy, validation, and reconciliation between T24 and reporting systems.
• Collaborate with business teams for MIS, regulatory, and operational reporting.
• Support ETL processes and data pipelines where required.

Requirements

• 3–8 years of SQL development experience (banking domain preferred).
• Strong expertise in SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions, optimization).
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Amazon Aurora.
• Good understanding of Temenos T24 / Transact data model.
• Experience with ODS and SDS layers in banking systems.
• Knowledge of performance tuning and indexing strategies.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
• Strong understanding of banking domain (accounts, loans, payments).
