SAP Basis Team Lead

Job Title: SAP BASIS & Infrastructure Lead

Systems Limited is looking for a highly skilled SAP Basis Lead Consultant / Manager with deep expertise in modern SAP cloud technologies to lead enterprise-scale SAP transformations. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can architect, implement, and optimize SAP landscapes across cloud, hybrid, and RISE environments. You will drive technical strategy, lead delivery teams, and act as a trusted advisor to clients undergoing digital transformation with SAP’s latest platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead SAP Basis strategy and execution across cloud-first and hybrid landscapes, including RISE with SAP engagements

· Architect and manage SAP environments on hyper scalers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SAP-native platforms such as SAP BTP

· Design and implement SAP S/4HANA (Private & Public Cloud), SAP HANA DB, and cloud-based SAP solutions

· Drive migrations to cloud (lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and transformation approaches using SUM with DMO, System Move, etc.)

· Lead implementation and operations using SAP Cloud ALM and SAP Solution Manager (focused on transition to Cloud ALM)

· Define high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), backup, and resilience strategies in cloud environments

· Manage identity, access, and security integrations (IAM, SSO, SAP Identity Services, cloud security frameworks)

· Lead client engagements, architecture reviews, and pre-sales solutioning for SAP cloud transformations

· Mentor and manage a team of SAP Basis consultants across multiple projects and geographies

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

· 12+ years of SAP Basis experience with at least 5 years in a leadership/managerial role

· Proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA DB, and SAP cloud transformations

· Hands-on experience with RISE with SAP, SAP BTP, and SAP Cloud ALM

· Strong experience with hyper scalers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including SAP-certified infrastructure

· Expertise in migration tools: SUM with DMO, SWPM, Migration Cockpit, and system carve-outs

· Deep knowledge of Linux/Unix OS, cloud networking, storage, and virtualization

· Strong experience in HA/DR design (HANA System Replication, clustering, multi-zone architectures)

· Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills

· SAP certifications (S/4HANA, HANA, or Cloud-related certifications)

· Experience with SAP BTP services (Integration Suite, Extension Suite, Identity Services)

· Exposure to SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, and modern data architectures

· Experience with security and compliance standards (ISO, SOC2, GDPR, etc.)
