About the Role

Habib Bank AG Zurich is seeking reliable and detail‑oriented NOC Engineers to monitor and support the bank’s IT and network infrastructure. This role plays a critical part in ensuring system availability, timely incident response, and smooth 24/7 operations in a banking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network and system performance using network monitoring tools
• Proactively identify, log, and respond to infrastructure alerts and incidents
• Perform initial troubleshooting of network and system issues
• Escalate incidents to relevant teams as per defined procedures
• Manage and update incident and service tickets using ticketing systems
• Ensure adherence to incident management and SLA processes
• Support basic networking activities (TCP/IP, connectivity checks)
• Maintain clear documentation and shift handover notes
• Assist with routine operational checks and reports
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards

Required Qualifications

• 4 years bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or Networking from a reputable university
• 4+ years of experience in a NOC or IT operations role

Preferred Certifications & Skills

• CCNA and/or ITIL certification
• Strong understanding of network monitoring and incident management
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work in rotational or shift-based environments
• Experience in enterprise or banking environments is an advantage
• Tools required: Zabbix, WhatsApp Gold, etc.
