Role Description The Public Relations Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Karachi Division. This role is responsible for developing and executing PR initiatives that enhance Cála Restaurants’ public image, strengthen media relationships, and support brand awareness. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and distributing press releases, coordinating media outreach, preparing talking points and key messages, and managing responses to media inquiries. The Public Relations Specialist will monitor coverage, maintain a media contact database, support event publicity, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent and strategic communications across channels. The role also involves identifying PR opportunities, tracking campaign performance, and providing regular reports and insights to leadership.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Public Relations and Media Relations skills.
• Candidates should possess Press Releases and Strategic Communications skills.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear written and verbal expression.
• Candidates should possess skills in stakeholder engagement, brand messaging, and reputation management.
• Relevant experience in hospitality, food and beverage, or consumer brands is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Karachi Division, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in basic office and collaboration tools; familiarity with social media and monitoring platforms is an advantage.
