Asc is seeking a skilled Procurement Executive with a strong background in customs clearance operations and logistics. The ideal candidate has more than six years of experience working with multinational companies and specializes in customs operations. This role involves overseeing and managing processes related to procurement and customs clearance, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and coordinating smoothly with logistics teams to optimize the supply chain. The Procurement Executive plays a critical role in maintaining efficient customs processes to support company operations and reduce delays. This position includes managing a team of 30 persons, requiring exceptional leadership and coordination skills. The Procurement Executive leads the team to deliver effective customs clearance services and collaborates with various departments to meet organizational procurement goals. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of customs regulations, ensuring adherence to company policies, and continuously improving operational efficiency are essential to success in this role. The candidate must demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving abilities to effectively navigate the complexities of international trade and customs operations.
Responsibilities
 

• Manage and oversee customs clearance operations to ensure timely and compliant processing of shipments.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to optimize transportation and delivery of goods.
• Ensure adherence to all customs regulations and company policies during procurement and clearance processes.
• Lead and supervise a team of 30 individuals, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance team performance.
• Develop and implement procedures to streamline customs operations and reduce clearance delays.
• Maintain effective communication with suppliers, customs authorities, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor and analyze procurement activities to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Resolve issues related to customs documentation, shipment clearance, and compliance violations promptly.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of customs transactions, documentation, and reports for audit and review purposes.
• Stay informed about changes in customs laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure continuous compliance.
• Collaborate with multinational companies and partners to facilitate smooth cross-border procurement activities.
• Provide regular updates and reports on procurement and customs clearance status to senior management.
