Job Description: The Accounts Officer will be responsible for managing the financial transactions and records of the organization. Key responsibilities include:

1. Receipts and Payments:

  • Record invoices against utility bills, vendors, and suppliers and forward them for payment.
  • Maintain petty cash payment records.
  • Manage all accounting transactions.
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.

2. Accounts:

  • Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual accounts reports and share them with the CIO.

3. Yearly Budget:

  • Prepare the annual budget report.

4. Record Keeping:

  • Keep a record of all vouchers executed during the year along with relevant support documentation.

5. Fixed Asset:

  • Maintain, update, and verify fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, and physical verification.

6. HR Activity:

  • Monitor and process utility and mobile bills in accordance with HR compliance.
