Role Description
 

This is a full-time remote role for a Medical Biller. The Medical Biller will be responsible for processing medical claims, managing denials, and handling insurance verifications and reimbursements. Daily tasks include accurate medical coding using ICD-10 codes and ensuring compliance with Medicare policies and regulations. The role involves collaborating with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve billing-related issues efficiently and ensure timely reimbursement.
 

Qualifications
 

• Proficiency in Medical Terminology and understanding the nuances of the healthcare industry
• Experience in handling Denials and problem-solving related to claims processing
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10 coding and accurate medical record documentation
• Familiarity with Insurance processes, reimbursement policies, and claims resolution
• Understanding of Medicare policies, regulations, and compliance requirements
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in billing and coding tasks
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams and clients
• Certification in medical billing or coding and prior experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
