X-Ray Technician

Job Description

Chughtai Healthcare is seeking a skilled X-Ray Technician with a minimum of two years of experience to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in radiographic imaging techniques, patient positioning, and digital radiography, coupled with excellent communication skills to ensure patient comfort and safety. This role requires proficiency in handling advanced imaging technologies such as computed tomography (CT) and radiology information systems. The technician plays a critical role in performing accurate X-ray examinations in accordance with physician instructions, while adhering strictly to radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and staff. This position demands a conscientious individual who upholds high standards of infection control, equipment maintenance, and documentation accuracy without managing a team. The successful candidate will effectively collaborate with radiologists to assist in imaging procedures and provide compassionate patient care throughout the diagnostic process. Responsibilities include operating and maintaining X-ray and CT scanner equipment, processing images with digital tools, and maintaining electronic health records. Responsibilities
 

• Perform X-ray examinations accurately in line with physician instructions and diagnostic requirements.
• Position patients correctly to capture clear and diagnostic-quality images while ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Operate and maintain X-ray and CT scanning equipment efficiently, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and institutional protocols.
• Follow stringent radiation safety procedures to minimize exposure risk for patients, self, and healthcare team members.
• Manage patient verification processes, ensuring all identifying information is correct and well documented in electronic health records.
• Assist radiologists during imaging procedures by preparing equipment, setting necessary parameters, and ensuring seamless workflow.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of all imaging equipment to guarantee operational readiness and reduce downtime.
• Implement infection control measures consistently to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Process and analyze radiographic images using digital radiography software and computer vision techniques to facilitate accurate diagnosis.
• Utilize radiology information systems to track imaging requests, results, and workflow efficiently.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients to explain procedures, alleviate concerns, and promote cooperation.
• Document all imaging activities comprehensively and maintain accurate records for compliance with healthcare regulations and internal standards.
