Phlebotomist

Job Responsibilities:

• Draw blood as per doctor’s instructions, perform timely ward collections, and ensure proper patient handling during phlebotomy procedures.
• Label, prepare, pack, and dispatch samples to relevant sections/agencies; ensure correct identification and proper storage of additional/retained samples.
• Maintain phlebotomy equipment, ensure cleanliness of the work area, inspect equipment weekly, and support analyzer checks as per maintenance procedures.
• Generate IRS, confirm samples, enter accurate patient data into the lab information system, and record/report any issues promptly.
• Follow SOPs for sample rejection, ensure proper sharps disposal, maintain stock of consumables, and coordinate with biomedical/maintenance teams in case of equipment issues.

Job Requirements:

• Qualification: Matriculation
• Job Shift: Morning, Evening and Night (Rotational)
• Experience: 03-06 years of relevant experience within Phlebotomy
• Location: Korangi Crossing, Karachi
