Bestway Group is seeking an experienced Manager Homologation to oversee the vehicle and part homologation processes in compliance with national and international standards. This role requires deep knowledge of regulatory compliance management, technical documentation, and product certification procedures, as well as detailed expertise in the automotive homologation process. The successful candidate will ensure alignment with standards set by the Engineering Development Board (EDB), Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA), National Environmental Quality Standards (NEQS), and relevant Statutory Regulatory Orders (SROs). As the primary liaison with EDB, PSQCA, testing laboratories, and governmental authorities, this position demands strong communication and coordination skills, along with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in documentation and certification workflows. Although this role does not involve managing a team, it requires effective collaboration across multiple departments and external agencies to guarantee timely and successful homologation outcomes. The Manager Homologation plays a pivotal role in driving compliance by managing testing and validation processes and ensuring that all products meet the Worldwide Vehicle (WB) 17 Standards and other relevant regulatory requirements. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to handle complex certification processes while maintaining rigorous control over documentation quality and process adherence. By staying current with evolving regulatory frameworks and industry best practices, the manager contributes towards the uninterrupted market introduction of compliant vehicles and parts, thereby supporting Bestway Group's commitment to quality, safety, and regulatory excellence in the automotive sector.
Responsibilities
 

  • Coordinate and manage the entire vehicle and component homologation process in strict accordance with Engineering Development Board (EDB), Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA), National Environmental Quality Standards (NEQS), and applicable Statutory Regulatory Orders (SROs).
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison with the EDB, PSQCA, authorized testing laboratories, and government regulatory bodies to facilitate efficient communication and ensure smooth homologation approvals.
  • Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive technical documentation required for regulatory submissions and product certification, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards.
  • Oversee and validate testing and validation activities related to product compliance, ensuring that protocols align with approved automotive homologation process workflows and worldwide vehicle (WB) 17 standards.
  • Monitor and interpret changes in regulatory requirements and industry standards related to automotive homologation; assess their impact on current processes and advise management on necessary adjustments.
  • Prepare detailed reports, certification dossiers, and compliance records for submission to regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and product development teams to integrate compliance requirements into product design and manufacturing processes.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with external testing agencies and government bodies to expedite homologation procedures and resolve any technical or regulatory issues.
  • Ensure timely completion of homologation activities to support product launch schedules, while maintaining data integrity and audit readiness.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of homologation files and processes to ensure adherence to company policies and external regulations.
  • Provide expert guidance and support on homologation best practices and regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international and regional automotive regulatory environments to enhance the company's certification capabilities and competitive positioning.
