About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Maintenance (Mechanical) to join our team at Novatex. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of mechanical maintenance for our production facilities, ensuring the smooth operation and efficiency of our equipment.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive mechanical maintenance plan to optimize equipment uptime and minimize downtime.
Lead a team of maintenance engineers & technicians, providing guidance, training, and motivation.
Oversee the maintenance budget and ensure efficient utilization of resources.
Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance practices.
Oversee the maintenance of rotary and stationary equipment, ensuring their optimal functionality and performance.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures to prevent future occurrences.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
CMRP qualified will be an added advantage.
Minimum 10-12 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing industry.
Proven track record of successfully leading and motivating a team.
Strong understanding of mechanical maintenance principles and practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience working in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
