What You’ll Be Doing

Own the engineering operational layer, acting as a force multiplier for the broader technical team.
Lead DevOps and CI/CD, ensuring stable, secure, and automated deployments across staging and production environments.
Oversee the engineering release schedule, ensuring coordination across frontend, backend, and data teams for consistent, timely deployments.
Define and enforce documentation standards to ensure systems are well-documented, reliable, and maintainable.
Track and resolve technical blockers by coordinating with engineers and prioritizing support work.
Create and own dashboards for engineering KPIs, release metrics, uptime, and incident tracking.
Support vendor integrations and ensure our infrastructure (GCP, GitHub, logging tools, etc.) runs smoothly.
Work closely with the Head of Product, CIO, and tech leads to align sprint execution with strategic goals.
Maintain tech stack hygiene and ensure consistency in tooling, architecture patterns, and onboarding.

What We’re Looking For

Deep understanding of DevOps best practices, cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred), CI/CD tooling, and system administration.
Experience in engineering operations or technical program management, particularly at startups or high-growth teams.
Comfortable managing multiple moving parts across engineering projects—timelines, releases, blockers, and support needs.
Passionate about clean processes, internal documentation, and enabling engineers to build quickly and safely.
Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Data, and Executive teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a bias toward clarity, structure, and execution.

✅ Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced technical training a plus.
5+ years of experience in software engineering or DevOps, with at least 2 years in an engineering management, tech ops, or TPM role.
Demonstrated success owning DevOps, release management, or engineering operations at a fast-paced startup or tech firm.
Hands-on experience with tools such as GitHub Actions, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, etc.
Track record of building productive engineering teams and managing systems that scale.
