Finance Manager

Brighter Beauty Group is an ambitious and expanding group of companies which is actively building a portfolio of hair and beauty salons across the southern half of England.  Due to the continued growth of our operations we are now seeking a driven and conscientious individual to fill the role of Finance Manager working on a fully remote basis within the finance function to support the financial reporting and day-to-day management of the group.

Reporting to the CFO, the Finance Manager will be responsible for the oversight of individuals within the finance function and for taking the lead in managing the finance operations and monthly reporting for the group.  This will include having primary responsibility for the following types of tasks:

Oversight and review of the month end close processes

Approving payments

Payroll

Responding to payroll queries from staff

Oversight of cash forecasting

Preparation of targets

Preparation of budgets

Working capital management for group companies

Preparation of financial statements and simple corporation tax returns

Oversight and review of VAT returns

Oversight and support of more junior finance staff

Preparation of FP&A documents for the management team and the Board

Other similar tasks involved in the management of finance functions

Support for the CEO/CFO in the delivery of their role

This role will suit a qualified accountant with some management and oversight experience within finance functions who is looking to work on a part-time basis.  The work will be fully remote, though occasional visits to group salons may be required.  As such it will require the successful candidate to be able to work independently and to use their initiative to complete tasks in line with the various deadlines throughout the month.
