The individuals who fulfill the below basic-eligibility criteria may apply for the following position:
Position / Job Title:
Divisional Head - Home Remittances & NRP Banking (SVP / EVP)
Reporting to:
Group Chief - International, Financial Institutions & Remittances Group
Educational /Professional Qualification:
- Minimum Graduation or equivalent from a local or International University /
College / Institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan - Candidates having Masters degree and / or relevant professional certification(s)
will be preferred
Experience:
Minimum 15 years of experience in banking and / or financial institutions with at
least 05 years as Head and / or one level down to Head of Home Remittances and /
or International Business and / or Cross Border Payments and / or Correspondent
Banking or related business functions
Other Skills / Expertise / Knowledge Required:
- Sound knowledge of international payment systems, cross border payment
mechanisms and regulatory requirements - Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and
international banking practices related to remittances business - Well versed in business strategy formulation, product development, digital
remittance solutions, budgeting, profitability management and performance
monitoring - Ability to lead and mentor a team, effectively communicate with stakeholders, and
collaborate across departments to achieve business objectives - Excellent relationship management and financial analytical skills
Outline of Main Duties / Responsibilities:
- To lead and manage Banks home remittance business by developing and
implementing strategies to enhance remittance volumes, strengthen overseas
partnership, expand remittance corridors in line with the overall objective of
International Financial Remittance Group - To provide strategic guidance, mentorship, and performance coaching to team
members to enhance productivity, professional development, and achievement of
business goals - To engage regularly with overseas counterparts, exchange companies, and strategic
partners to strengthen relationships and ensure alignment with local and
international business initiatives - To ensure all Wings and functional units within the Division operate efficiently,
effectively, and in accordance with approved business plans and service standards - To conduct meetings with various individuals and organizations in accordance with
project requirements - To execute regular visits to respective remittance regions to understand and
receive first-hand feedback from the field - To monitor monthly business performance of the Division to take adequate
measures that can be implemented as and when needed - To liaise closely with the Information Technology Group to drive product
development, system enhancements, and digital transformation initiatives aimed at
improving customer experience and business efficiency - To coordinate with the Treasury Department to maintain competitive foreign
exchange pricing and maximize remittance inflows and profitability. To work closely
with Operations teams to identify operational challenges, develop effective
solutions, and enhance service delivery and process efficiency - To follow up on any critical and time-bound tasks delegated to subordinate teams
and ensure timely and successful completion of the tasks - To coordinate with the Compliance Group to ensure adherence to regulatory
requirements, effective transaction monitoring, and timely resolution of
compliance-related issues - To ensure effective dissemination of training programs across teams, regions, and
branches for new products, systems, policies, and technological developments - To review business performance against approved targets and formulate annual
business plans, objectives, and performance targets for the Division - To prepare and manage the Divisions annual budget by incorporating historical
performance trends, market dynamics, and strategic growth initiatives - To monitor Key Performance Indicators daily, for evaluation of overall employee
performance. Present divisions overall performance to concerned management
teams and the Board of Director committees - To perform any other assignment as assigned by supervisor(s)

Employment Type:
The employment will be on contractual basis for three years which may be renewed on discretion of the Management. Selected candidates will be offered compensation package and other benefits as per Banks Policy / rules.
