Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer with 2–4 years of hands-on experience in SQL, Python and Informatica for developing, integrating, and maintaining scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, ETL processes, and database technologies, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment to deliver reliable, high-quality data pipelines and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
• Build and maintain data integration pipelines for loading data from multiple source systems into data warehouses and data marts.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
• Monitor ETL jobs, troubleshoot failures, and ensure timely resolution of production issues.
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and application teams to understand data requirements and implement scalable solutions.
• Optimize ETL performance by tuning mappings, workflows, and database queries.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
• Maintain technical documentation, including ETL design specifications, mapping documents, and operational procedures.

Technical Skills:

• Programming - SQL, Python (preferred)
• ETL/ELT - Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and best practices.
• ETL Tools - Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric Data Factory.
• Reporting & BI - SSRS, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric.
• Databases - Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
• Data Warehousing - Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Lakehouse Architecture, Star & Snowflake Schemas.
• Big Data - Apache Spark, Kafka, Hadoop.
• Cloud Platforms - Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Cloud & On-Prem Technologies: Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, SQL Server, Oracle.
• Orchestration & DevOps - Apache Airflow, Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in Data Engineering or ETL development using Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
• Candidates with experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry will be preferred.
