Unit Head Digital Payments Monitoring & Operations

Halan Microfinance Bank is seeking an experienced technology leader to lead its Digital Payments Monitoring & Operations function. This role will be responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability and operational excellence of the Bank's digital payment ecosystem while supporting its digital transformation initiatives.

Location: Karachi, Pakistan (On-site)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end integration, implementation and support of digital payment systems.
• Manage the operations, maintenance, availability and performance of digital payment applications.
• Administer and maintain UAT and Production environments, including deployments and configuration management.
• Coordinate system testing, UAT support, post-deployment sanity checks and production releases.
• Maintain deployment, patch, release, and system outage records and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Establish operational governance, SOPs, KPIs, monitoring processes and lead a high-performing operations team.
• Manage 24x7 monitoring of digital channels, including Mobile Banking, Debit Cards, Raast, 1LINK, Payment Gateways, APIs and other Alternative Digital Channels (ADC).
• Lead incident management, root cause analysis, service improvements and major production escalations.
• Collaborate with Business, Operations, Risk, Information Security, and Technology teams to deliver reliable digital payment services.
• Manage technical relationships with 1LINK, Raast, payment service providers and technology vendors.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/ IT /Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Digital Banking, FinTech or Payment Systems, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
