Information Technology Governance Analyst

Job Purpose

The resource will be required to work closely with the GIT teams and will be responsible for developing the technology framework, policies, procedures, and implementation processes for GIT. Coordination with internal and external auditors and other related tasks will also be part of the role.

Preference will be given to candidates with a strong background in GRC, IT compliance, and relevant certifications such as ISO 27001. Skills in risk management and mitigation are essential.

Task and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure the effective management of IT resources.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits to evaluate the effectiveness of IT governance controls, identify areas for improvement, and recommend corrective actions.
• Write, edit, and update technical documentation and policies in accordance with established standards and guidelines, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Maintain documentation repositories, version control systems, and content management tools to ensure the availability and accessibility of documentation resources.
• Provide guidance and support to IT teams in implementing governance requirements, standards, and best practices.
• Reporting of IT KPIs, monthly dashboards
• Coordinate with external & internal audit and regulatory inquiries.

Experience and Education

Experience:

• 2-3 years of experience in the field of IT GRC

Education:

• Bachelors in computer science or relevant (4-year degree)
• ISO 27001, COBIT 2019 would be a plus

Attributes

• Familiarity with international security standards, risk management , cyber security, vulnerability assessment and incident response.
• Expertise to understand the bank's technical and Business environment.
