IT Assistant

Al Riaz Chemicals is seeking a dedicated IT Assistant to provide essential technical support and assistance to ensure the smooth operation of the company's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate holds a bachelors degree and has at least two years of experience in IT support, with a solid understanding of troubleshooting, network administration, software installation, and maintaining hardware and software systems. This role requires a proactive individual who can quickly identify and resolve a variety of technical issues to support daily business activities. The IT Assistant collaborates closely with the IT department to manage and maintain network connectivity and address system-related concerns. The candidate demonstrates excellent communication skills and problem-solving abilities, enabling effective interactions with users and timely resolution of technical problems. Responsibilities
 

• Provide first-level technical support to end-users for hardware, software, network, and system issues.
• Install, configure, and update software applications to ensure optimal functionality and security.
• Conduct routine network administration tasks to maintain reliable connectivity and resolve network-related problems.
• Troubleshoot technical issues involving hardware components, software applications, and internet connectivity.
• Assist in maintaining and upgrading IT infrastructure components, including computers, peripherals, and network devices.
• Document technical procedures, issues, and resolutions clearly for future reference and knowledge sharing.
• Communicate effectively with users to understand their technical challenges and provide appropriate support and solutions.
• Collaborate with senior IT staff to escalate complex technical problems and support overall IT initiatives.
• Monitor system performance and take proactive measures to prevent potential issues.
• Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses to ensure accurate tracking and compliance.
• Support IT policy enforcement and contribute to maintaining network security standards.
