Jammy Constructors Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Civil Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of site-based experience specifically in heavy industrial structures, distinct from residential builders. This role demands a detailed understanding of cost estimation, tendering and bidding processes, contract administration, and quantity takeoffs to support our large-scale construction projects effectively. As a Civil Quantity Surveyor, you will manage a team of five professionals, ensuring project budgets remain on target while overseeing procurement and construction documentation processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential to maintain accurate and organized financial records. The candidate will play a central role in coordinating procurement management and managing contract details to reduce costs and mitigate risks throughout the construction lifecycle. Strong collaboration with project managers and stakeholders is crucial for the timely delivery of projects within budget and contracted terms. This position offers a dynamic environment where analytical skills and attention to detail are vital to driving efficiencies and supporting company growth in the industrial construction sector.
Responsibilities
 

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and quantity takeoffs for heavy industrial construction projects.
  • Coordinate and manage tendering and bidding processes to secure contracts.
  • Administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance and addressing any variations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project budgets, tracking actual costs against forecasts.
  • Oversee procurement management activities, sourcing materials and services in line with project requirements and budget constraints.
  • Lead and supervise a team of five quantity surveying professionals, providing guidance and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Maintain and organize construction documentation to support project management and auditing needs.
  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and communication regarding cost implications.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to prepare reports, cost analyses, and financial data management.
  • Monitor site activities to ensure quantities and costs align with project directives and contracts.
  • Identify and mitigate potential financial risks related to construction activities and contractual obligations.
  • Provide expert advice on cost control, contract terms, and procurement strategies throughout the project.
