Cashier

Dawat-e-Islami Trust is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to manage daily cash transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and provide excellent service. The ideal candidate should have strong numerical skills, integrity, and the ability to work accurately under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and process cash payments accurately.
• Issue receipts and maintain transaction records.
• Count and reconcile cash at the beginning and end of each working day.
• Prepare daily cash collection and reconciliation reports.
• Deposit cash into the designated bank as per organizational policy.
• Verify supporting documents before processing payments.
• Maintain proper records of receipts, payments, and cash balances.
• Coordinate with the Accounts Department regarding daily transactions.
• Report any cash discrepancies immediately.
• Ensure compliance with organizational financial policies and SOPs.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification.
• 1–2 years of cashier or cash-handling experience will be preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Honest, responsible, and highly organized.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using POS systems or ERP software.
• Previous experience in retail, banking, educational institutions, healthcare, NGOs, or corporate organizations.

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs55,000.00 per month

• Cash Handling: 2 years (Preferred)
