Chughtai Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Nurse to deliver high-quality patient care and support medical staff in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate possesses strong skills in patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, and basic life support, with a commitment to maintaining detailed clinical documentation. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure the safety and comfort of patients. The Assistant Nurse plays a key role in assisting with routine medical procedures, monitoring patients' conditions, and responding promptly to emergencies using skills such as Automated External Defibrillator (AED) usage. The position demands a minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare setting and a proactive approach to patient care. The Assistant Nurse will not manage a team but will work closely with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support service delivery. This role entails responsibilities that require attention to detail, compassion, and the ability to remain calm under pressure, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective care. Responsibilities
 

  • Monitor and record patients vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure accurately and regularly.
  • Assist healthcare professionals in conducting patient assessments and identifying changes in condition.
  • Provide direct patient care by assisting with daily activities such as feeding, dressing, and hygiene maintenance.
  • Perform Basic Life Support techniques and operate Automated External Defibrillator (AED) equipment during emergencies.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation of patient care activities and observations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and the healthcare team to facilitate understanding and cooperation.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to implement care plans and follow established protocols for patient treatment.
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of medical equipment and patient care areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
  • Respond promptly to patient needs and concerns while delivering compassionate care in a respectful manner.
  • Adhere to infection control policies, safety standards, and hospital regulations to ensure a safe healthcare environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in arranging and transporting patients to different departments within the healthcare facility as needed.
  • Support medication administration under supervision by preparing necessary equipment and monitoring patients for reactions.
  • Contribute to health education by providing patients with information and guidance on their care and recovery processes.
