Architect – Full-Time

Job Description

Ahmed Construction Company (ACCO) invites a skilled and experienced Architect to join its Lahore team and play a key role in architectural project planning, design, development, documentation, and execution. The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of professional experience in architectural design and building projects, demonstrating a strong understanding of architectural concepts, construction drawings, building codes, and space planning standards. This full-time role requires the candidate to be based in Lahore and to work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality design delivery across residential, commercial, healthcare, industrial, and institutional projects. As an Architect managing a team of three, you will coordinate efforts across various disciplines including structural and MEP engineering, interior design, and construction teams. You will lead the development of architectural concepts from preliminary designs through detailed working drawings, ensuring compliance with building regulations and client requirements. The role demands excellent technical skills in AutoCAD and proficiency or familiarity with 3D modeling and rendering tools such as SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, or V-Ray. Strong communication, project coordination, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
 

• Develop architectural concepts, floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings aligned with project objectives.
• Create comprehensive architectural design and documentation packages that meet client and regulatory standards.
• Design and oversee the development of residential, commercial, and healthcare facilities ensuring functional and efficient layouts.
• Collaborate and coordinate architectural plans with structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers for integrated project execution.
• Prepare precise working drawings, construction details, and architectural documentation suitable for implementation and compliance.
• Critically review architectural drawings for accuracy, constructability, and design quality, incorporating client and consultant feedback.
• Engage actively in client meetings, design discussions, and internal coordination to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, verify construction progress, and resolve design implementation issues onsite.
• Assist with material selection and architectural detailing to enhance design innovation and adherence to standards.
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable building codes, zoning laws, and project-specific requirements.
• Review shop drawings and construction details, coordinating revisions as necessary to meet project standards.
• Guide a team of three architectural professionals, providing direction, mentorship, and performance management.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing workflow and meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
• Support multidisciplinary teams through all design, documentation, and construction phases to ensure project success.
• Maintain strong attention to detail and enforce a high standard of design integrity across architectural deliverables.
