Aisha Steel Mill Limited Karachi, Pakistan seeks a Senior Manager Security & Admin to lead and oversee the comprehensive security and administrative functions within the organization. This role demands a professional with a strong background in security risk management, physical security management, and surveillance systems. The ideal candidate will have 16 years of experience, possess excellent communication and multitasking skills, and demonstrate the ability to manage a team effectively. This position focuses on maintaining robust security protocols, conducting security audits and assessments, and ensuring adherence to all relevant security standard operating procedures. Managing a dedicated team of 20 personnel, the Senior Manager will be responsible for directing security operations and administrative activities, ensuring the company’s assets and personnel are protected while supporting the company’s overall goals. The Senior Manager will leverage expertise in risk assessment and converging security concepts to design and implement security strategies that mitigate threats and vulnerabilities. The candidate must handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and utilize strong networking skills to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders. Proficiency in MS Office and other computer skills is essential to manage reporting, documentation, and communication efficiently. This leadership role requires the capacity to multitask and adapt to dynamic environments while maintaining a focus on security excellence and compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
 

  • Key Accountabilities:
  • Supervise the security of all company assets i.e. ensuring no items are allowed outside the premises without the security gate pass. Similarly, all visitors to be logged into the visitor / computer log book and all offices to be locked after office hours.
  • Supervise the daily log of the CRC coils which are dispatched for sales. This includes tallying the figures provided by the Sales & Marketing team via a physical check.
  • Supervise the movement of company assets into and outside the ASML premises. Further to this generation of report based on the movement.
  • Ensure all vendor contracts related to security section are duly drafted and approved accordingly.
  • Maintenance of all applicable records and documentation this includes vehicle entry and exit, gate pass, labor movement, attendance of housekeeping staff and heavy vehicles involved in the collection of coils.
  • Ensure awareness of city law and order conditions in order to communicate any changes in routes.
  • Make sure lifting of scrap material under security supervision.
  • Team management and ensure all relevant security staff is aptly trained on the current security SOP.
  • Ensure all contingency plans and SOPs are updated on a regular basis.
  • Supervise, and monitor the activities of all security staff deployed at gates, plants, warehouses, and other sensitive areas.
  • Implement strict access control systems to regulate entry/exit of employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors.
  • Monitor the security control room and ensure effective use of CCTV.
  • Ensure protection of company’s material, equipment, finished goods, vehicles, and other valuable assets against theft, pilferage, and sabotage.
  • Organize security patrols and inspections across mills’ boundaries and sensitive areas.
  • Investigate cases of theft, accident, or indiscipline and submit fact-based reports to management.
  • Liaise with Police & Civil Defense, and other law enforcement agencies for intelligence sharing and law & order support.
  • Maintain updated records of incidents, visitors, and security audits.
  • Submit daily, weekly, and monthly security reports to senior management.
  • Ensure budgets related to Security section are approved accordingly.
  • Risk assessment of current security SOP and subsequently improve on current practices and processes.
  • Supervise all security related payments of vendors are processed in a timely manner.
  • Manage and ensure all coordination with LEAs regarding Chinese and foreigner’s movement.
  • Maintain daily attendance of all relevant security staff.
  • Any other job as and when assigned by the HOD / Senior Management.
