Inventory Officer

The Inventory Officer at KIDCO plays a vital role in overseeing and managing all inventory-related activities to ensure efficient stock control and seamless supply chain operations. This position requires hands-on experience with inventory management systems and warehouse operations, along with strong organizational skills to coordinate daily tasks effectively. The officer is responsible for maintaining accurate stock records, coordinating with supply chain partners, and ensuring timely replenishment that meets demand forecasts. Located near Site Area, Karachi, the role also involves supervising a team of two persons, facilitating smooth communication and workflow within the warehouse environment. This position demands expertise in inventory audit practices, order processing, and usage of ERP and inventory management software. The Inventory Officer works closely with logistics and warehouse teams to optimize storage, handle stock discrepancies, and improve overall inventory accuracy. With a minimum of three years relevant experience and proven leadership in managing daily warehouse operations, the individual will ensure that inventory policies and safety stock calculations align with company objectives and best practices in supply chain coordination.
Responsibilities
 

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations ensuring efficient stock handling and storage.
• Manage inventory control processes including stock auditing, stock replenishment techniques, and reorder point calculation.
• Utilize ERP software and inventory management systems to track stock levels, update records, and generate reports.
• Forecast demand and plan inventory requirements to avoid stockouts or excess stock, applying safety stock calculations as necessary.
• Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to streamline order processing and timely delivery of materials.
• Lead, train, and manage a team of two warehouse staff to maintain high standards of inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Implement and monitor internal controls for inventory to minimize losses and discrepancies.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile physical counts with system data to ensure consistency.
• Maintain clear and effective communication channels across departments to facilitate smooth operations.
• Use advanced Excel skills to analyze data trends, prepare inventory reports, and support decision-making.
• Oversee stock replenishment activities ensuring timely procurement aligned with company needs.
• Apply warehouse management best practices to optimize space utilization and improve workflow.
