Unit Head – Liability Deposit Product

Bank AL Habib is seeking experienced and analytical professional to join our Credit Division as Team Lead – Credit Assessment. This role is responsible for supervising credit assessment officers, ensuring high-quality evaluation of credit proposals, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and internal policies.

Qualification & Experience:

• MBA / Master’s degree or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in credit assessment

Key Responsibilities:

• Review credit cases assessed by Credit Analysts and ensure quality evaluation
• Ensure compliance with Credit Policy, Credit Manual, Shariah rules (where applicable), and SBP Prudential Regulations
• Coordinate with Zonal Offices, Business Team Leads, and Relationship Managers to analyze proposals and assess credit limits
• Provide guidance to business units on credit assessment processes to improve turnaround time
• Supervise and mentor Credit Assessment Officers to enhance workflow and efficiency
• Review MIS reports and provide feedback on analysts’ assessments
• Present credit proposals to Sub Credit Committee (Sub-CC) and Credit Committee (CCC) after due diligence
• Conduct customer visits to evaluate physical assets and management quality, where required
• Monitor assigned credit portfolio through MIS reports
• Undertake special projects assigned by senior management
• Serve as a member of Group C of the Sub Credit Committee (SCC)
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Regional Credit Risk Incharge
