Role Overview

We are hiring a UI/UX Designer to own the end-to-end product experience across Lumida’s digital platform.

This is a high-ownership, builder role for someone who can translate ambiguity into clarity and create intuitive, elegant, and high-trust user experiences in a complex financial product environment.

You will work closely with product, engineering, and growth teams to design user journeys that simplify investing, improve conversion, and elevate overall product experience.

This role sits at the intersection of product thinking, behavioral design, and visual craft — with direct impact on how users perceive and interact with Lumida.

Organizing Principles

 

• Design intuitive, high-trust, and elegant user experiences for complex financial workflows
• Translate ambiguous product ideas into structured, user-centered design solutions.
• Build systems and flows that guide users across full journeys (acquisition → activation → retention)
• Iterate fast, in hours and days, not weeks. Ship rough versions early, gather feedback continuously, treat the first draft as a starting point.
• Own the full stack of design — research, UX, UI, landing pages, and design system — as one connected craft, not separate functions.
• Ensure product experience reflects institutional-grade quality with consumer-grade simplicity
• Act as a bridge between users, founders, product, and engineering to ensure execution quality
• Use AI as a force multiplier in your own workflow — for ideation, research synthesis, copy, asset generation, and rapid iteration. 
  
   

Key Results

 

• Clear user research insights documented and actively used in product decisions
• End-to-end UX flows designed for all core product areas (onboarding, dashboard, transactions, insights, etc.)
• Scalable design system implemented and maintained across product surfaces
• Regular usability testing conducted with actionable improvements tracked
• Improved product adoption and reduced user friction across key journeys
• Faster design iteration cycles (idea → prototype → feedback loop compressed significantly)
• High-fidelity app designs and landing pages delivered with minimal engineering rework
• Consistent improvement in user satisfaction and engagement metrics
  
   

Areas of Ownership (DRI) & Collaboration

Primary Ownership

 

• High-fidelity UI designs (Figma or equivalent)
• Interactive prototypes for testing and validation
• Design System creation and maintenance
• End-to-end product experience quality
• Landing pages and acquisition surfaces
• User personas and behavioral archetypes
• Journey maps and end-to-end user flows
• Usability testing reports and iteration logs

• Product / CEO (direction, priorities, product vision alignment)
• Engineers (implementation, feasibility, iteration feedback)
• Growth / Marketing (funnels, conversion optimization, landing pages)

Qualifications

 

• 4-6+ years experience in UI/UX or product design roles
• Strong proficiency in Figma. Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work
• Deep understanding of UX principles, information architecture, and interaction design
• Experience designing complex or data-heavy products is a plus
• Strong collaboration skills with engineering and product teams
• High attention to detail and systems thinking
• Experience in fintech, SaaS, or regulated industries is a plus
• AI-centric and leverages AI output and workflows in day-to-day tasks.
