T24 Senior Technical Analyst

Job Description

The position requires translating business requirements into scalable technical designs, developing and customizing T24 modules, and optimizing routines using TAFJ, jBASE, or INFOBASIC. The analyst oversees system integration with multiple platforms via APIs and messaging protocols and manages data migration and load testing to ensure consistency and performance. Without direct team management responsibilities, this role includes mentoring and coaching junior developers and analysts to promote a collaborative and high-performance environment. The analyst also owns change management processes, enforces development standards, and ensures compliance risk is managed in line with organizational values and ethical development practices.
Responsibilities
 

• Drive end-to-end execution of Temenos T24 projects using agile methodologies, from requirements collection through deployment and ongoing support.
• Engage with senior stakeholders across product, operations, compliance, and risk to align platform enhancements with business goals and regulatory requirements.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical design documents and specifications.
• Design, develop, and customize T24 banking modules, including AA Lending, Deposits, Accounts, Customer, Teller, Payments, Treasury, Funds Transfer, and Cheque Management.
• Write, optimize, and maintain T24 routines, versions, enquiries, reports, and browser-based screens using TAFJ, jBASE, or INFOBASIC.
• Lead integration efforts with internal and external systems through T24 APIs, OFS, Web Services, TIF, and MQ messaging frameworks.
• Manage data migration processes, ensuring data consistency, conducting load and stress testing to guarantee system performance.
• Own and oversee change management, release processes, and ensure adherence to coding, testing, and deployment best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and analysts, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Support branch and branchless banking initiatives by working closely with cross-functional teams.
• Assist in defining and scoping requirements for new or enhanced reporting capabilities.
• Evaluate architecture and component design trade-offs to optimize performance and scalability of the banking platform.
• Maintain ethical development standards aligned with organizational principles such as respect, promise-keeping, exploration, and collaboration.
• Manage compliance risks arising from daily technical activities, contributing to policy and process refinement with a focus on risk mitigation.
• Maintain thorough and organized technical documentation to support ongoing platform development and maintenance.
