Instrument Technician

HRSG Outsourcing Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join their Maintenance Department in the Instrument section at the Kotri location. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Instrument, Electronic, or Electrical fields, with 5 to 10 years of experience working in process or food industries. This role involves executing preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance tasks for all plant instruments to ensure optimal performance and reduced downtime. The Instrument Technician will lead a small team of three personnel, guiding and coordinating their activities to meet operational goals while ensuring adherence to all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) protocols and Integrated Management System (IMS) policies of the company. The position requires proficiency in electrical wiring and circuit design, strong communication skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset. The technician will be responsible for regular inspections, maintenance, repairs, and calibrations of instruments as scheduled, aiming to enhance the quality and reliability of instrumentation systems. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, a proactive approach toward identifying and resolving issues, and effective reporting and documentation skills to maintain compliance with company standards and operational targets.
Responsibilities
 

• Perform preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on all plant instruments to maintain and improve their performance and reliability.
• Conduct thorough inspections, checks, repairs, and calibrations of instruments following the established maintenance schedules and protocols.
• Lead and supervise a team of three technicians, providing guidance, support, and coordination to ensure efficient completion of maintenance tasks.
• Implement and maintain adherence to company Environmental, Health, and Safety protocols as well as Integrated Management System policies during all maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to troubleshoot instrumentation issues and optimize plant operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, calibrations, repairs, and inspections, ensuring timely and clear reporting.
• Utilize skills in electrical wiring and circuit design to diagnose and resolve electrical instrument faults effectively.
• Ensure timely response to instrument breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain continuous plant operation.
• Adapt to changing maintenance priorities and operational requirements, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving abilities.
• Communicate effectively with management and team members to coordinate maintenance work and report progress.
