MEP Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is a contracting firm proving end-to-end for Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing works. Our company is the sister firm of IZHAR construction company Pvt Ltd. MEP Solutions is seeking a full-time Store Officer (MEP) to join our team at Karachi at HMR project

Responsibilities:

• Provide a stores service that is cost effective and focused to the needs of the business, in accordance with the aims and objectives of MEP Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
• To review the stock profile to ensure that stock is kept in an appropriate manner and used within an appropriate timescale and suggest changes/amendments where a benefit can be had by MEP.
• Ensure that the Rota for the stores staff works efficiently and effectively to cover the needs of the service.
• To operate effective controls on stock issuing and holding.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, other employees and Subcons -

Store Tasks:

• Accountable for all issues /receipts of items to/ from Store
• Supervise material receipt, unloading and placement in assigned storage location.
• Check material received quantities & specifications against order documents
• Manage space and determine storage methods according to the manufacturer's guidelines and MEPS safety procedures.
• Maintain consumable and fast running stock level of materials to ensure continuous availability.
• Maintain the filing system and stock records as per MEPS procedure.
• Maintain supplies of materials, in compliance with storage safety regulations.
• Issue materials, tools, parts and supplies, based on organization procedure.
• Recommend disposal of excess, defective or obsolete stock.
• Responsible for keeping work area tidy and free from waste materials.
• Responsible for stock security.
• Responsible to inspect physical conditions of Material.
• Load/unload materials and stock to vehicles when required.
• Carry out stock checks annually or as business demands dictate.
• Supervise and train staff when required.
• Ensure materials are only issued to authorized persons.

Qualification & Experience:

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

1. Bachelor’s degree with 5 to 7 years of progressively responsible experience maintaining and controlling inventory or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

2. Building & industry Construction knowledge is preferred especially in MEP Facilities.
