Senior PHP Developer

Location: Karachi, Pakistan

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in PHP-based web application development, database management, API integration, and modern web technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable PHP-based web applications.
• Write clean, secure, and well-structured code.
• Work with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or CodeIgniter.
• Design and manage databases using MySQL.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain development standards.
• Collaborate with designers, developers, QA, and other teams.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
• Manage existing projects and implement new features based on requirements.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of professional experience in PHP development.
• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with Laravel, CodeIgniter, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with REST APIs and third-party API integrations.
• Good understanding of Git/version control.
• Strong knowledge of database design and optimization.
• Understanding of web security and performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with WordPress/WooCommerce or other CMS platforms.
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
• Experience with cloud hosting, cPanel, or server management.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.

Pay: Rs75,000.00 - Rs85,000.00 per month
