Role Description The ServiceNow Developer is a full-time, on-site role based in Karachi Division. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and configuring ServiceNow applications and integrations to support business workflows and automation. Day-to-day tasks include implementing new modules, customizing existing functionality, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing performance across the ServiceNow platform. The developer collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure high-quality delivery aligned with best practices and security standards. The role also involves maintaining documentation, supporting releases, and continuously improving the platform to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, with exposure to APIs, integrations, and server-side architectures.
• Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, preferably with languages commonly used in ServiceNow (such as JavaScript).
• Solid understanding and practical application of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience developing, configuring, or administering the ServiceNow platform or similar ITSM/ITOM tools.
• Ability to analyze requirements, design scalable solutions, and write clean, maintainable code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, agile methodologies, and secure coding practices is beneficial.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to document technical solutions and processes clearly.
