Pakistan International Container Terminal is seeking a Senior Finance Executive to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing accounts payable and receivable, overseeing general ledger accounting, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data through rigorous controls and reconciliations. Familiarity and hands-on experience with ERP systems, particularly ODOO accounting software, will be essential to streamline processes and enhance financial reporting. This position requires a candidate with a strong background in ERP implementation and post-implementation support, especially using ODOO, to optimize financial operations within the organization. The Senior Finance Executive will handle month-end closing activities, vendor bill processing, bank reconciliations, and efficient documentation management. Competency in advanced Microsoft Excel and Word is necessary to facilitate detailed financial analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate will be a master’s degree holder in finance or an ACCA qualified professional with at least five years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree holder with seven or more years of solid experience. This role does not involve managing a team but requires strong individual ownership and accountability in financial functions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts receivables and accounts payable operations to ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions.
  • Execute vendor bill processing, coordinate payments, and maintain strong vendor relations.
  • Perform general ledger accounting activities, including verification, posting, and reconciliation to maintain accuracy in financial records.
  • Conduct thorough bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly to maintain the integrity of company cash flows.
  • Lead month-end closing processes by preparing journal entries, accruals, and financial statements in accordance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee documentation management, ensuring all financial records and reports are complete, accurate, and easily accessible for audits and compliance checks.
  • Implement and provide post-implementation support for ERP systems, focusing on ODOO accounting software to enhance financial operations and reporting efficiency.
  • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills to generate detailed financial reports, perform data analysis, and prepare correspondence related to finance activities.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and corporate finance standards to mitigate risks and ensure legal adherence.
  • Communicate professionally through email and letters, drafting clear and concise correspondence related to finance matters and vendor interactions.
