Operations Officer

Job Description

The Operations Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe, orderly, and supervised environment for students, staff, visitors on school grounds, and smooth day-to-day functioning of campus infrastructure, assets, and safety operations. The Operations Officer ensures compliance with school policies, assists in resolving conflicts, and provides a supportive presence throughout the campus

Responsibilities
 

• Manage and supervise staff members to maintain operational efficiency and enforce safety protocols within the school.
• Implement risk management strategies and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements relevant to the educational environment.
• Coordinate facility management activities, including routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to safeguard operational integrity.
• Develop and enforce health and safety policies to create a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, demonstrating calmness and proper use of conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.
• Conduct regular campus patrols to monitor security, identify potential hazards, and intervene when necessary to uphold campus safety.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and accurate reporting of all incidents, facility issues, and operational activities.
• Collaborate with school administration and various departments to ensure clear communication and effective operational coordination.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on safety procedures, emergency response, and operational best practices.
• Serve as a liaison between the school and external agencies concerning safety, security, and compliance matters.
• Promote positive student behavior by addressing minor infractions and reinforcing school rules.
• Maintain records of incidents, interventions, and referrals, providing reports to the school administration when required.
