Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Occupational Therapist role based in the Karachi Division. The Occupational Therapist will assess clients’ functional abilities, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions to support daily living, motor skills, sensory integration, and functional independence. Daily responsibilities include conducting evaluations, documenting progress, coordinating with medical and rehabilitation teams, and educating families and caregivers on home programs and adaptive strategies. The role involves working with clients across different age groups, with a focus on client-centered, goal-oriented therapy. The Occupational Therapist will also participate in case discussions, contribute to program development, and uphold professional and organizational standards.

Qualifications

 

  • Strong foundation in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation, with the ability to assess, plan, and implement effective intervention programs.
  • Understanding of Medicine and related healthcare concepts to collaborate with physicians and other clinical professionals.
  • Effective Communication skills to interact clearly and respectfully with clients, families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary team members.
  • Experience or interest in Pediatrics, including working with children with developmental, physical, or sensory needs.
  • Recognized degree in Occupational Therapy and valid professional registration or eligibility as required by local regulations.
  • Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation and manage caseloads in a structured, timely manner.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, cultural sensitivity, and continuous professional development.
  • Previous experience in a clinical, school, or community-based setting is an advantage.
