Job Title: Microbiologist
Location: Landhi, Karachi
Department: Food Safety & Quality

We are looking for a Microbiologist to join our Food Safety & Quality team and support microbiological testing, food safety, and quality control activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology; Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 1 -2 year of experience in the food industry.
• Knowledge of microbiological testing, microscopy, aseptic techniques, and laboratory practices.
• Understanding of Goods Manufacturing Processes (GMP), food safety, environmental monitoring, and hygiene practices.
• Good attention to detail, documentation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to operate, maintain, and coordinate calibration of laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct microbiological testing of food, water, environmental, and retention samples.
• Perform testing for product release and shelf-life evaluation.
• Conduct environmental monitoring and hygiene assessments.
• Prepare Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and maintain laboratory records.
• Support GMP audits, internal audits, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, hygiene, and testing standards.
• Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, Procurement, Maintenance, and other departments on food safety and quality matters.
• Ensure testing activities comply with applicable quality, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
