In-charge Radiology

Full job description

Al Mustafa Hospital is looking for a qualified and experienced In-Charge – Radiology to lead and manage the Radiology Department and ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality diagnostic services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily operations of the Radiology Department.
• Ensure proper functioning and utilization of radiology equipment.
• Coordinate with radiologists, technicians, doctors, and other departments.
• Monitor the quality and accuracy of radiology services and reports.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and radiation protection protocols.
• Manage staff scheduling, attendance, performance, and departmental workflow.
• Maintain proper records, documentation, and equipment maintenance schedules.
• Address operational issues and coordinate with management for timely resolution.
• Ensure patient safety, privacy, and a smooth patient experience.
• Monitor departmental supplies and coordinate maintenance/repair of equipment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Radiology or relevant qualification.
• Relevant professional certification/registration as applicable.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in a hospital or diagnostic center.
• Previous supervisory or departmental management experience will be preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage staff and departmental operations effectively.
