Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Child Development Psychologist (PhD) to work on a contract basis. The role involves conducting comprehensive developmental assessments for children aged 0-18 years, designing and implementing individualized intervention plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support optimal child development outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct developmental screenings and formal assessments using standardized tools such as the Bayley Scales of Infant Development, WISC-V, and ADOS-2.

• Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans tailored to each child’s developmental needs and family context.

• Provide consultation to parents, caregivers, and educators on strategies to support cognitive, social-emotional, and behavioral development.

• Collaborate with pediatricians, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists to coordinate care plans.

• Maintain detailed clinical documentation, track progress, and generate reports for referrals and insurance purposes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• PhD or PsyD in Developmental Psychology, Child Psychology, or related field.

• Active state licensure or certification in psychology, with specialization in child development preferred.

• Proficiency in administering and interpreting developmental assessment tools and diagnostic criteria.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and caregiver education.

• Experience working with diverse pediatric populations in clinical, educational, or research settings.
